2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Library Wine)
Big, ripe and chewy, our newly released 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the warmer, eastern side of the Napa Valley AVA and reflects this sunny terroir with an abundance of ripe, jammy and intense fruit character and muscular, structured mouth-feel. The palate is loaded with black fruit and has tremendous extract and weight with excellent acid structure and nuances of cinnamon and bramble. With time in the glass this wine unfolds and shows even more intensity and style. It is blended with small amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot to add aromatic complexity and was aged in barrel (35% new French oak) for 23 months.
